Good Morning,

Yesterday whilst on Cowm Park Way, Whitworth at the rear of St Anselms Primary School i witnessed Vehicles all but fully parked on the footpath in an attempt to get as close as possible to the school to collect children, i witnessed parents and children having to walk in the road as the pavement was consumed by cars.

I could see a complete build up of traffic struggling to get through due to vehicles double parking causing a bottle neck effect.

This type of parking is not only inconsiderate, dangerous but illegal, your local officers will not tolerate people putting children's lives at risk and this is to stop with immediate effect.

We will be in attendance at peak times and offenders will be dealt with appropriately. 

Please feel free to forward this to parents or relatives that you know attend this school to collect children.
